Elektronica SM-Handels GmbH hereby confirms that the areas of the company premises (Mergenthalerstraße 29, 29 b and 31) are subject to the regulations of the Hazardous Incident Ordinance. A notification in accordance with §7 Paragraph 1 of the Major Accidents Ordinance has been submitted to the Münster District Government as the relevant supervisory body.

According to the present notification, Elektronica SM-Handels GmbH operates a facility for the storage of gas lighters, gasoline lighters, refill cartridges for gasoline lighters and matches on the above-mentioned premises. According to the notice of approval dated December 5, 2013, issued by the district government of Münster, a maximum of 195 tons of liquid gases, 59 tons of flammable liquids and 81 tons of matches are stored.
According to the list of substances in Annex I of the Hazardous Incident Ordinance, a quantity threshold of 50 to to 200 to (2.1 - liquefied flammable gases - category 1 or 2) or 5,000 to to 50,000 to (1.2.5.3 - flammable liquids of category 2 or category 3) applies for classification in the lower class.
